In a few words :

Environmental migrants are the populations forced to move from their home regions because of the changing environmental conditions, be it an environmental disaster (hurricane, tsunami, earthquake) or a slowly deteriorating habitat (deforestation, coastal deterioration, endangered biodiversity) or a predictable harm to their environment (floods, desertification). Various regions are considered to be potential places where the populations might need to emigrate for environmental regions.
