In Brazil. Refers to Brazilian and world citizens, who build a mind on the bio-ethanol production firstly through the media and Internet, the major vector if information on the subject. Their perception inscribes itself at the macro-scale level, regarding the sustainability of bio-ethanol for future and regarding the tackling of global warming. Their perception of the issue of the indirect pollution due to the production of bio-ethanol is too narrow. The public opinion lionizes this new “green” energy without weighing enough the pros and cons because of a frequent lack of knowledge about indirect emissions of this activity.
