Since we’re analysing the controversy involved with international actors, especially the EU or the USA, it’s important to have a map representing different origins. EU actors have more interactions with those having international presence, while the “center” of the controversy, Brazil, seems outside of the international stage although every actor has to talk about it. This could be partly explained by the business character of most of these brazilian actors and its language, one “international presence” linked with those industrial producers is Raizen: the joint venture between Shell and Cosan(the biggest ethanol producer in Brazil).
